Lu Yimin, president of Genertec, attended and addressed on behalf of Genertec the eighth edition of Hong Kong's Belt and Road Summit and a meeting between Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) John Lee Ka-chiu and officials of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council and executives of China's centrally-administered state-owned enterprises from Sept. 12 to 13 on invitation.

The summit is hosted by the HKSAR government and Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) with the support of China's government departments including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Commerce, and the National Development and Reform Commission. It has brought together nearly 20,000 participants from over 80 countries and regions across the globe.

Executives of Genertec International also took part in the summit.
