Genertec president Lu Yimin attended the Emerging Markets and Developing Countries Development and Cooperation Beijing Forum upon invitation in Beijing on July 25, and delivered a keynote speech on exchanges, mutual learning, and shared opportunities, at the forum.

Adhering to the spirit of openness, inclusiveness, cooperation, and win-win results, Genertec has actively served the high-quality development of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) and international cooperation on increasing production capacity, implemented relevant arrangements under the BRICS cooperation mechanism, and firmly supported and helped other developing countries speed up development, contributing to the significant rise in the level of modernization and industrialization of local industries and related fields, Lu said in his speech.

Lu stressed that common development is an important foundation for continuous development. The proposal of the BRI, the Global Development Initiative (GDI), and the BRICS cooperation mechanism, among other initiatives on cooperation, has built bridges for mutual trust and win-win cooperation among various countries, and injected strong vitality into pragmatic cooperation among industries and enterprises in different countries in broader spheres and wider fields, and at deeper levels for common development, Lu added.

The forum was jointly hosted by Xinhua News Agency, the People's Government of Beijing Municipality, and the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries.
